Chapter Board Positions are Open!!!
Are you ready to be active in social work leadership in Alabama? We need you on the NASW- AL chapter Board leadership. All board positions for July 2026 to June 2028 are voting members of the Chapter Board and participate in setting and implementing the goals of the chapter each year. We focus on professional development for social workers, membership services, and advocacy for the social work profession. Meetings are held at least four times a year virtually. This is a wonderful way to connect with other colleagues and develop your leadership skills.

July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028 (Two (2) year term)
Western Region Representative
July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028 (Two (2) year term)
Southern Region Representative
July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028 (Two (2) year term)
Graduate (MSW) Student Representative
July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (One-year term)
Undergraduate (BSW) Student Representative
July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027 (One-year term)
