Free financial help at Montgomery event
People can get free financial advice and tools – and even a free lunch - at a Montgomery workshop on July 23.
The Community Financial Education Summit will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Frazer United Methodist Church, 6000 Atlanta Highway. It will cover a wide range of topics across all ages, including student aid, credit, retirement planning and more.
The goal is to better prepare people for things like wealth-building and home ownership. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
Seven continuing education units will be offered for mental health practitioners for a $35 fee.
Call 356-6841 for more information. The event is being organized by the National Association of Social Workers Alabama Chapter.
